Day 4 of our roadtrip took us across 4 states. We drove through Louisiana, crossed the Mississippi River, and took some some scary backroads in Alabama. While in Texas, we saw the second PT Cruiser of our entire drive through the state......it was for sale for $3,800.
Day 3 of the roadtrip took us through half of Texas. It was a strange day. We saw Mexico, a zoo with buffalo, and a kid on a scooter stole our gas pump spot.
Day two across the country took us through the deserts of Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico.
After getting a new job in Washington, D.C., I set off on a trip across the country from San Diego with my mom and one of my best friends. Our first stop was Vegas, naturally.

A local photographer organized a "kiss-in" to bring attention to the "Unconditional Surrender" statue in downtown San Diego. The statue, brought to the city in 2007, is scheduled to leave San Diego next month.
